Here is what I’ve been up to in my art world!
I’ve dabbled in watercolor most of my adult life and recently I’ve started to oil paint. My art journal is a watercolor haven where color and sketching come hand and hand.
My husband and I own and operate Baja Rancho La Bellota, a 2,800 acre guest/horse ranch in Baja California, Mexico. We have 50 sheep, 30 horses, 7 chickens, and 3 dogs. I feel very fortunate to live in the best of both worlds. The city and the country.
Over the years we’ve met many people from all over the world who visit our ranch. On top of that, we host art workshops from fabulous instructors in watercolor and mixed media, ceramics, abstract art, and oil painting.
This is the place to relax with friends and family, ride horses and enjoy wine from Baja’s famous Guadalupe Valley wine region. Not to mention some of Mexico’s most delicious premium Tequilas.
Our Art instructors:

Helen visits the ranch twice a year with her students. She’s known for her patient teaching style and colorful paintings. Helen is a renown watercolorist and illustrator.

Jennifer McHugh
